Lehigh Valley Isshin Ryu Karate, Inc. (LVIRK) opened the LVIRK Training Center in Catasauqua, PA in May 2003. In February 2012, LVIRK moved to a much larger facility - Hammer Training & Fitness - in Allentown, PA. Our facility offers various types of classes, such as Isshin Ryu Karate, Mixed Martial Arts (MMA), Muay Thai Kickboxing, Boxing, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ), Ashtanga Yoga, and Self-Defense. We offer classes for students of all ages and ability levels. We offer Private Lessons and Personal Training catered toward your interests and goals. Private lessons are available for all of the programs offered, Karate Weapons, Pre-Natal Yoga, and some other specialties. We also offer an Open Gym package to train in our bag room, weight room, and boxing ring.

Our facility is located in Allentown, Pennsylvania (just minutes from the Lehigh Valley International Airport) in an 18,000 square foot building. Our facility consists of three matted workout rooms that contain a wide variety of training equipment, such as an MMA ring, a Boxing ring, an MMA Cage, Body Opponent Bags (BOBs), Bobby Bullies, Heavy bags, Thai bags, speed bags, shields, and target mitts. Hammer Training & Fitness (formerly LVIRK Training Center) also contains a full fitness center with free weights, weight equipment for every body part, and cardio equipment, including treadmills, ellipticals, and bikes. Members can use the gym on their own or work with a personal trainer. To help you relax after a hard day's work or a hard workout, a Massage Therapist awaits.

Our Master Instructor Renshi Rodney Guignet has put forth a goal to be able to meet the needs of all students no matter what their age or ability level. We have Isshin Ryu Karate Classes for children in kindergarten and above. We offer Youth Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) Classes for children between the ages of 10 and 14. We offer teen and adult programs in Isshin Ryu Karate, Mixed Martial Arts (MMA), Muay Thai Kickboxing, Boxing, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ), Ashtanga Yoga, and Self-Defense for any skill level. For Seniors that are interested in our programs, we even offer a substantial Senior discount.
